ABOUT JB AUDIO
My passion for music and music production started when I formed my first band with school friends. I hadn’t had any music lessons, and managed to teach myself the guitar (I also but the bullet and volunteered as the lead singer!). As the project became more successful we found ourselves in a professional studio. This was a turning point for me, in which my interests started to gravitate towards the production process. The layering, the micro-editing, the endless possibilities of a DAW.

Whilst working as junior assistant in marketing, I spent all of my spare time learning how to use Logic Pro. In 2017 I took a leap of faith and enrolled in a music production degree at BIMM in Manchester. After completing and passing my first year I decided that I wanted to start giving the gift of production back to others. Ever since, I’ve been continuously learning new techniques and fulfilling client needs in a number of ways; with the rise of podcasts over the past couple of years, this tends to be my most popular work. I’m always looking for new genres of content to edit, as well as artists who are looking for a long-term producer and composer to collaborate with.
My goal is to financially sustain myself through the audio skills I have acquired through providing the best quality services for passionate creators. JB Audio was set up with the intention of reforming the exploitative creative industries of the 21st century by providing an opportunity for everyone to create. Over time I have witnessed incredible swathes of creative talent vanish into the system without being given the chance to develop their skills because of the overzealous economy that we have to take part in.
